March 8, 2016 - KGS Wins $22B VA IDIQ Award

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) one of nine large business contracts to support information technology infrastructure improvements, cyber security, and operations and network management. The Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) is a Multi-Agency Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base ordering period of 5 years and one 5-year option period (a total of 10 years), with a program ceiling of $22.3 billion. KGS will help deliver information technology service solutions, including technical support; program management; strategy planning; systems/software engineering; enterprise network engineering; cyber security; among other IT- and health-related IT requirements.

KGS Chief Executive Officer, Rear Admiral Patrick Moneymaker USN (Ret.), stated, “KGS is honored by the opportunity to continue our partnership with VA, furthering efficiency and excellence in coordination and service. We are confident that, together, this Next Generation of support will go even further in delivering vital care to the men and women who have served our nation.”

KGS Vice President, Michael McCormick, will lead KGS’s T4NG initiatives, continuing a corporate commitment to the VA that dates back to 1996. “We are energized and privileged to support VA in enhancing services for our Veterans. Through more than two decades of service, KGS has helped implement VA’s vision, serving a customer set that includes approximately 22 million living Veterans, the largest network of affiliated hospitals in the world, and 25.7 million Veteran dependents. KGS provides data center management, data analytics, software development, and business process optimization to simplify Veteran access to the VA.
