May 19, 2015 - KGS Awarded Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences Contract
On May 19, 2015, KGS was selected by the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS) to support the Financial and ManPower Management Directorate with budget, financial operations, and finance and accounting services. Through this contract, KGS will continue to provide USUHS with financial reporting and audit readiness support; OMB A123 documentation and assessments; and financial systems support and sustainment.
"We are very pleased to continue our relationship with USUHS supporting the Financial and ManPower Management Directorate," said Pat Moneymaker, Chairman and CEO of KGS. “As USUHS’s contractor, we look forward to assisting them with department as well as agency-wide initiatives, such as implementation and upgrades to the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) system to ensure mission success."
KGS has worked with USUHS through data migration and consolidation of financial system upgrades and has also been instrumental in providing day-to-day accounting support. One of the major accomplishments KGS supported for USUHS was working directly with DFAS, DHA, and USUHS stakeholders to provide end-to-end support for the preparation of the assertion packages for the audit readiness initiatives outlined in the OUSD(C) FIAR guidance.
