November 20, 2014 - KGS Awarded Multiple Contracts to Support U.S. Coast Guard
KGS was recently selected by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) to provide audit remediation support on multiple Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contracts. On the first BPA award, as part of a small business led team, KGS will provide audit remediation solutions to stakeholders within the USCG. Specifically, KGS will provide accounting, financial management and internal control support, as well as financial reporting support. Under this BPA, KGS’ team was also selected for the initial task order.
On the second BPA award, as part of an Independent Public Accounting (IPA) firm led team, KGS will provide accounting; financial management; internal control support; property management support; and financial management human resources strategy development and implementation. The KGS team was also awarded the first task order under this BPA.
While all of these awards represent new work for KGS, they continue a nearly ten year relationship between the USCG and KGS, during which KGS has provided a wide variety of financial management; accounting; property accountability and valuation; budgetary analysis; and capitalization support. KGS personnel will be located at both the USCG headquarters and at the Finance Center (FINCEN) in Chesapeake, VA.
