March 31, 2014 - As Seen On CNN: TraumaFX® Showcased at 'Doomsday Disneyland'
Recently, TraumaFX® traveled to the Guardian Centers of Georgia, an 830 acre disaster response training facility, to participate in an exercise which tested the disaster preparedness skills of EMS, First Responders, and military from across the country.
Referred to as the 'doomsday Disneyland' by CNN, the facility contains a mock subway station, a bridge with crushed cars, devastated structures, and flooded housing to replicate the aftermath of such catastrophic events as Hurricane Sandy, the 2011 Japanese tsunami, and the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
Capable of being deployed in austere conditions, the TraumaFX® line of products provided the perfect training tool for the exercise. The Remote Control, which is operable for up to 200 yards, ensured the safety of the TraumaFX® team while allowing participants to be fully immersed in the training experience.
