January 21, 2010 — KGS Awarded Three ED-SAT BPAs from U.S. Department of Education
On January 21, 2010 KGS was awarded three separate Blanket Purchase Agreements enabling the company to pursue work under the Education Streamlined Acquisition Tool (ED-SAT) for the U.S. Department of Education. The three BPAs are for Pools A, B, and C and cover the following services:
Pool A: Policy, Program, and Performance Analysis and Evaluation. KGS will provide analyses of major educational policy issues.
Pool B: Research and Assessment Design, Data Collection and Analysis. KGS will examine the inputs, processes, and outcomes from a program or educational treatment that will be used to inform Congress and the public about educational outcomes.
Pool C: Technical Assistance. KGS will provide planning activities, evaluation, reports and policy papers to state and local level Department program grantees or sub-grantees in the areas of organization, program administration and implementation, evaluation, and assistance. In addition, KGS will be required to provide professional development for teachers and program administrators and instructional design and policy development workshops.
The period of performance for each Pool is a 24-month Base period with three 1-year options.
