October 24, 2009 — KGS Chosen to Continue Providing Accounting Support Services to Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
KGS received a two-year contract on September 25, 2009, to continue providing assistance to the DCMA Chief Financial Officer for achievement of auditability objectives and support for successful implementation of the DCMA Strategic Plan. KGS will continue assisting DCMA to meet their financial reporting requirements, including review and analysis of financial statements and update of footnote disclosures, and evaluation, testing, improvement, and reporting on internal controls over financial reporting. Our support will include detailed reconciliation, analysis, and correction of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Property, Plant, and Equipment discrepancies. KGS will work with DCMA to expand and update Agency Financial Improvement Plans and completion schedules.
